How to Create Job Proposal That Catch a Client

Yahooooooy, dear fellas!

Have you ever wondered how do employers feel when they have to read the same, literally identical proposals on any jobs they are posted? All these: “Hello! Blah-blah-blah, I’m very confident, reliable, and brilliant worker, etc.” I am pretty sure, sometimes they are having headaches from all of this bullshit. Do you want to know how to create a catchy, juicy-fruity, candy-like proposal that will sell your offers? I’ll tell you how!

First Line

Yep. That’s a pretty damn important thing. Try to imagine that you have to read 50 proposals, and 49 of them are starting with “Hi” or “Hello”. How do you think, will your potential client take a closer look at the proposal that begins with something like: “TERIBILLY AWFUL! That is NOT how I will do this job.” From my perspective, definitely yes.

Highlight Your Skills

You need to show your employer, what exactly you can do to help him, and why you are a good fit for this particular job. The main trick is not to do it mechanically, by a simple listing or something, but to integrate all this info into kinda story. Or you can just show your competency by giving them almost ready to go decision of their issue. You will get what I mean at the end of the article, after the final example.

Be Accurate with Grammar

It’s essential to be 100 percent accurate with grammar and punctuation if you are offering any kind of writing service. If you are a designer, a developer, a musician, it’s still important, but not so crucial. You have to agree that in most cases, you will treat more trustfully and reliably on persons with a high command of English and extensive vocabulary during professional relationships. So, are you really think that your employer has other thoughts?

Try to Ask Questions

You need to show your employer that you are really interested in completing this job successfully. Is that possible to complete any kind of job successfully without having a whole bunch of different info about the particular project? Surely no! Don’t wait until the clients hire you! Ask them all the additional info right in the proposal. It will increase the level of their involvement and the chance for you to get a response. And the first answer — is half of the future collaboration!

Proposal Example

Here is the example of the proposal that I wrote today for the job titled: “Disclose the role of salivary peptides in Periodontitis and Coronary Heart Disease.” I got a lightning response and already signed a contract with a client. Check it up, and let me know what you think!

Here it is:

“Yahooooooooooooooooooooooooooy, my future c̶a̶p̶t̶a̶i̶n̶ employer!

I am a doctor-radiologist and a content writer with more than five years of experience in creating texts of any kind, including medical articles.

It will be a great pleasure for me to help you with this project.

It’s understandable for me how salivary peptides may be connected with inflammatory processes of the oral cavity, but I’m not sure exactly about coronary disease.

Probably, the lack of peptides (if I remember it’s right, they are amylase and maltase), which are starting the process digestion of polysaccharides, may become the main reason for increasing the level of undigested carbs in the lower parts of the digestive tract, which may lead to ignoring fats and firstly cholesterin as a leading source of energy for residential microflora of the intestine. So, they may be absorbed into the bloodstream in slightly higher amounts, then they should. But I’m not sure.

It seems like I’d have to use Scopus and PubMed to gather all the proper info, but it’s not a big deal for me. Maybe you can provide me some additional links, books, etc.?

I need you to answer the following question before I start working on this issue:

Can you please provide me with some samples of the ideal from your perspective text of the required kind?

What is the exact amount of words you needed?

Do you require citation, and if yes, then what style?

Do you need any kind of charts, infographics, tables, and so on in the text?

When do you expect this work to be done?

I can send you my diploma copies if you need any confirmation of my qualifications.

Don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!

By the way, I use the premium version of Grammarly and the Heminque apps to deliver the best possible content with the highest rate of readability, which totally error-free and entirely understandable for the native English speaker.

We will definitely form a great and productive team!

Best,

Dmitro.”
