Only 26% of US citizens and official residents think America should play a significant role in the Russia-Ukraine war. Yet, many members of western society keep blaming only Putin for starting a full-scale conflict in Ukraine, entirely ignoring the behavior and actions of Russian military forces and civilians.

But briefly speaking, lots of Russians is responsible for what’s happening in Ukraine. And you will know why, if you read this article carefully.

At the exact moment when Russian TV propaganda shows pictures of single-person protests, which Russian police officers are brutally stopping, their soldiers keep ruining Ukrainian cities and killing, robbing, and raping civilians. Russian military forces declare a “good-old” genocide against the Ukrainian nation.

So, we’re about to tell you a story of a brave woman who has kept helping Ukrainian civilians as a volunteer and paramedic for more than eight long years since the Russia-Ukrainian war started. Her name is Julia Paevska.

Before the Beginning of the Russia-Ukrainian War

Julia Paevska (Facebook) was born on the 19th of December, 1968. The whole family of young Julia was military officers. One of her grandfathers Konstantin Chubkov, was a veteran of WWII. Still, she decided to leave the path of her ancestors and decided to become a sportsman instead.

After graduating from the National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine, she lived a peaceful life as a modern Ukrainian woman.

Julia spent most of her time working as a designer and an aikido coach (in general — more than 20 years of experience). She has five dan aikido and became a president of the Aikido Federation “Mutokukai Ukraine” long before the war.

But, everything was changed when the fourth president of Ukraine, Victor Yanukovich, decided to rebuild “a friendly behavior with Russia” and declined the previous agreements with the EU in 2013. As a result, the Ukrainian nation began a revolution, the so-called “Revolution of Dignity.”

During that revolution, many civilians were wounded, and more than 100 people were even killed ( you can check their identities in the list of so-called “Heavenly Hundred”). As a genuine Ukrainian, Julia couldn’t stand aside and joined the revolution forces on the 1st of December 2013.

She mostly gave first aid and worked with wounded Ukrainians during those times. But, “Russian b(r)others” treacherously struck into the back of Ukrainians, who were fighting against the tyranny of their president, so Julia needed to forget about her civilian life for more than eight years…

After the Beginning of A Russia-Ukrainian War

On the 20th of February, just a few months after Julia’s birthday, the Russian Federation military forces, without a declaration of war, stepped into the lands of Ukraine (Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions).

For a long time, all those regions were targeted and processed by Russian propaganda for both Ukrainian citizens and Russians. As a result, military battles between Russian and Ukrainian armies began and continued for more than eight years.

Since the beginning of the war, Julia taught tactical medicine in the projects “People’s Reserve” and “Protection of Patriots.” She joined the military grounds and military volunteer bases as an instructor in a short while. A few months later, she decided to move close to the front line and keep working as a paramedic and instructor simultaneously.

At the same time, she gathered a medical unit whose main priority was an evacuation of injured people away from the front line, named “Angels of Tayra.” This unit takes full action in modern military operations.

Julia realized that the most effective way to help all injured during the Russia-Ukrainian war was joining the military forces. The main reason is that the status of a civilian person created some issues and didn’t allow her to perform all the necessary duties in full power.

So, Julia took an oath to the Ukrainian people on 31th of August 2016 and started to work as an army paramedic and medical instructor. During these eight years, she taught more than 8 000 people about effective ways of medical treatment and first aid. Her unit saved thousands of civilians and soldiers’ lives, and she might do lots of valuable and life-saving work in the future. But the Russians decided to break Julia’s future again…

Worsening of the Russian-Ukrainian war in 2022

When President Putin decided to attack Ukraine with the full potential of his “invincible” army and start a full-scale war, Julia was still performing her duties on the front line as a paramedic and medical instructor. When Russian tanks, soldiers, and bombs started crossing the borderlines and attacking civilian people, she didn’t flee back and moved with “Angels of Taira” into the hottest spots on the front line.

Unfortunately, when she tried to evacuate injured civilians from Mariupol, all her small team, including Julia Paevska herself, aidman, and driver of their car, was captured by Russian military forces on the 16th of March. Still, she used all her diplomacy skills during the interrogation, and the aidman was released. So, he told all Ukrainians what happened to Julia Paevska.

It’s been almost two weeks since she got into captivity, and Russian propaganda TV channels sources showed her among other Ukrainian prisoners. Still, even though Russians know who Julia is and that she’s only evacuating and curing people, they keep telling her that she is a killer and refuse to add her to a list of prisoners for exchange.

There was not a single word from Julia since her captivity, and the Russians refused to let her speak for themselves or give any direct commentaries and interviews. Still, her look at propaganda videos from Russian TV shows that she’s not having the best times. So how could you keep blaming only Putin in this particular situation?!!

Conclusions

Russians always were pretty aggressive and chauvinism-oriented about Ukrainians. Briefly speaking, the war between Russian and Ukrainian nations has continued for more than 500 years. In general, it’s not the first time Russia has tried to genocide the Ukrainian nation. But, they are always lost in a prolonged perspective due to their mentality specifics.

It’s not Putin himself who pulls rifle triggers; it’s not Putin himself who drops the bomb and shoots rockets on Mariupol, Irpin, Kyiv, Kharkiv, and hundreds of other Ukrainian cities; it’s not Putin, who rapes, murders, and kills civilians.

And last but not least, it’s not Putin himself who plays those dirty games with paramedics and volunteer Julia Paevska. In most cases, it’s just ordinary Russian citizens, soldiers who invaded their nearest neighbor’s territory and acted like killers, rapists, and barbarians.

Also, Russians elected Putin four times as a president and even decided to switch their Constitution to make this possible. Every Russian, including Putin, is responsible for what’s happening in Ukraine, Siria, and many other countries.

So please, in the future, know — Ukrainians and Russians are not brothers. We have been enemies ever since Moscovia was founded in the 15 century. We remain enemies now. And we will stay enemies until the very end of modern Russia.

The end.
